To correctly place an order for window Frame Mosquito Screens, you need to specify the dimensions of the window opening—that is, the opening that forms when the window sash is opened. It is also important to determine the thickness of the window frame bead—parameter X in the "PVC Window" diagram. This dimension is needed for the correct selection of mounting hooks.
The mosquito screen size must match the window opening size. The opening boundaries are indicated by arrows in the diagram. The exception is wooden windows with aluminum drip caps. In this case, the width is measured the same as for other window types, but the height must be measured along the bottom edge, as shown in the "Window with Drip Cap" diagram.
Due to production specifications, the obtained dimensions must be reduced: by 10 mm—for profile type A; by 14 mm—for profile type B. With this measurement method, the mosquito screen flange will correctly rest against the location indicated in the diagram.
